Meet the Kruger & Co Partners
It was a full circle moment for our founding team, Janél Kruger and Tanja Bodenstein when they decided to start their own business in doing what they so love - helping people take care of their legacy, tie the loose ends and carry out the final wishes of loved ones.
Together Janél and Tanja have over 40 years’ experience in legal practice and at least 20 years in the administration of deceased estates. They have built trusted networking relationships which aid their system to run like a well-oiled machine.
Kruger & Co. is based in the beautiful nature conservancy, Dana Bay, just outside of Mossel Bay, and work with clients nationwide.

Janél Kruger
Janél matriculated in 1990 at the Afrikaans High School, Kroonstad. She studied at Kroonstad Technical College and obtained an N6 certificate in 1992.
She started working at Grimbeek, Hart and Van Rooyen Attorneys in Kroonstad in 1993 as legal secretary and from 1999 – 2006 at De Hart, Kruger, Basson & Schoeman Attorneys.She started working at Grimbeek, Hart and Van Rooyen Attorneys in Kroonstad in 1993 as legal secretary and from 1999 – 2006 at De Hart, Kruger, Basson & Schoeman Attorneys.
In 2011 she started working at Rauch Gertenbach Inc. as an estate administrator. Janél completed her LLB degree and Diploma in estate administration in 2014, both through UNISA and she is now an admitted attorney.

Tanja Bodenstein
Tanja Bodenstein matriculated in 2002 at Point High School in Mossel Bay. She studied at South Cape College in George, where she obtained her N6 National Diploma.
In 2004, she commenced her career at Rauch Gertenbach Inc, during which time she completed a conveyancing course and obtained her Diploma in Conveyancing. In 2013, Tanja further expanded her professional qualifications by obtaining a Diploma in Deceased Estate Administration through University of South Africa.
In 2014, she joined Van Niekerk Conradie Attorneys, and in 2016 began working as a freelancer for Braam Deacon Attorneys. She is a registered member of the Fiduciary Institute of Southern Africa (FISA).
In 2025, Tanja obtained her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and is currently in the process of completing her LLB degree.
